Romina Marsella - Salon Director & Colour Specialist

Romina is the salon director and began her career in the hairdressing industry at the age of 14, first working as a “Saturday girl” at a local salon before serving her apprenticeship at Peter Mark’s flagship Grafton Street store. After 5 years mastering her trade, and at the age of 21 & 23 retrospectively, Romina Daniel was born when Romina and Daniel opened up its first salon at our Palmerstown branch in October 2009. The salon later expanded in 2012 to offer a full list of beauty treatments to compliment the hair salon at a separate unit upstairs at U16 Palmerstown SC. In September 2017, Romina & Daniel then opened our latest branch at Unit 3 Sandyford Hall SC which has so far been a quick success.

Romina’s passion has always primarily being colour & has studied colour to specialist level and received a graduate degree from L’Oréal Professional division in London and more recently from Davines in Parma, Italy.

Her sought after skills and passion for colour have led to Romina taking on a prestigious role with Davines, as their colour technical director for Republic of Ireland. Given Romina’s Italian background, a collaboration with Davines was a match made in heaven.

Italian features are present throughout our salon from products to coffee to décor and this is a reflection of Romina’s heritage.

Romina’s schedule changes from one salon to another on a weekly basis and she generally does have limited availability for appointments due to her commitments with Davines too. Meet Daniel, our director, coordinator and the overall dynamic force behind our Romina Daniel team! Showcasing his clear a knack for success from a very young age, a 16-year-old Daniel dove headfirst into the construction industry, and took only 6 years to establish himself as a site foreman.

Luckily for us, he made the decision to shift his impeccable creativity and attention-to-detail over to the hair & beauty industry. It was a bold move… but one that has paid off! Always scouring the industry for cutting-edge methods for improving your customer experience, Daniel’s action-oriented personality is truly the secret ingredient that goes into the triumph and growth of our salons.

You will feel his impact all the way through your experience at Romina Daniel, spanning our user-friendly online booking system to our nifty mobile app and brand-new online shop. The stylish copper-themed features scattered throughout are a nod to his construction roots—talk about a seamless blend of worlds!
